International OEM Delivery

Establish local delivery capability without building the operation from scratch.

USS helps international automation and engineering manufacturers deliver projects across the UK and selected European markets through one local operational partner.

International OEM Delivery Support & Engineering Deployment
UK & European Market Delivery

01 / Market Entry Reality

Entering a market requires more than securing the first sale.

Before a project can be delivered, an OEM may need local project leadership, installation resource, health and safety systems, storage, tools, transport, approved suppliers, commissioning support and a route to after-sales service.

Building that structure permanently can be expensive when demand is still developing. Relying on disconnected subcontractors can create a different problem: unclear accountability and inconsistent customer experience.

USS provides a structured middle route. We configure the delivery capability around the awarded project and develop a repeatable model as the pipeline grows.

What USS Provides Locally:

  • Pre-project scope, programme and mobilisation review
  • Local UK project and site management leadership
  • Dedicated mechanical & electrical installation teams
  • Pre-assembly, kitting and material preparation
  • Buffer storage, container destuffing and sequenced transport
  • UK health, safety, RAMS and CDM compliance management
  • Commissioning & handover support alongside OEM engineers
  • Planned maintenance, warranty assistance & reactive SLAs

02 / Accountability Boundaries

Your technology remains yours. Delivery becomes shared and structured.

This boundary is documented before mobilisation so the customer receives one coordinated service without losing access to the OEM's product expertise.

OEM Responsibilities

Product & Commercial Authority

The OEM normally retains product design authority, technical specifications, software and controls ownership, customer commercial terms, warranty policy, product training and final technical acceptance unless the contract states otherwise.

  • Technology IP & software algorithms
  • Core equipment manufacturing
  • Commercial customer relationship
USS Responsibilities

Operational Execution & Site Delivery

USS takes responsibility for the agreed local delivery scope: planning, mobilisation, site leadership, competent resource, safe execution, quality evidence, reporting, logistics and aftercare activities included within the contract.

  • On-the-ground management & supervision
  • Local installation, staging & logistics
  • Statutory safety & CDM compliance

03 / Phased Expansion

How the partnership develops.

STEP 01

Pipeline Review

We review target markets, live opportunities, project timing, expected scope, resource assumptions and local support requirements.

STEP 02

Pilot Project

A defined first project establishes working methods, roles, reporting, quality requirements and commercial principles.

STEP 03

Repeatable Model

Lessons from the pilot are converted into mobilisation checklists, agreed documentation, standard scopes, rate structures and escalation routes.

STEP 04

Scaled Partnership

The model expands across additional projects, regions, storage requirements, training needs and lifecycle support as demand justifies it.

This model is particularly suited to:

• Robotics & automation manufacturers
• AMR, autonomous vehicle & material-handling OEMs
• Conveyor, sortation & warehouse technology businesses
• Racking, guarding & safety-system manufacturers
• International engineering firms entering the UK
• European businesses needing regional delivery capability
